The University

Boston University, incorporated in 1869, is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian, urban university. Nineteen thousand full-time undergraduates, 2,000 graduate students and more than 2,400 faculty contribute to the stimulating academic atmosphere and research excellence of this world-renowned university. The Medical School Campus located in the South End of Boston is a 10 minute drive from the Charles River Campus, thus allowing convenient access and interaction between the two campuses.
