Location

The Department of Physiology and Biophysics is located on the Boston University School of Medicine campus, in the South End of Boston. The Medical Center Campus is comprised of Boston Medical Center, a teaching facility, the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, and academic departments involved in medically-oriented research, including biochemistry and physiology. The medical campus has convenient access to public transportation and is within walking distance to downtown Boston. Boston and the surrounding areas are the home of a large number of major colleges and universities and thus provide a stimulating and exciting environment for research and scientific interaction and collaboration.
