2006 Retreat, October 14 & 15, 2006
The goal of the retreat is to familiarize the faculty postdocs, staff and students with the research areas in our department, and for newcomers and old-timers to get to know other members of the department. We also plan to have some fun in beautiful Woods Hole! A registration form should be filled out BY SEPTEMBER 9, 2006, saying whether you will attend, and if you have a "spouse", whether he/she will attend. Click here to print MORE CHANGE: The retreat will feature short talks (10-15min) by a post-doc OR faculty member from many of the labs, on some aspect of the lab's research. There will be a break Saturday afternoon with free time for relaxing/exploring. Then come to a poster session/ reception on Saturday before dinner, to which everyone is encouraged to bring a recent poster(s). We look forward to seeing you there! This year the departmental retreat will take place at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), in Woods Hole, MA, from 10:00 AM on Saturday October 1st to Noon Sunday October 2nd, 2005. Lunch will be available at the Gomez/Nasi house after the Sunday morning talks.
